Lisbeth Dennis, MSW, is the Director of Programming and Administration for the Colton Consortium and the Penn Colton Center for Autoimmunity at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, where she provides operational and administrative oversight for both organizations. She manages administrative staff coordinating research programs, seminar series, and large-scale symposia, and fosters relationships with donors, Consortium partners, faculty, and researchers in support of the organizations’ mission to advance transformative autoimmune research and improve patient care.
Lisbeth brings more than two decades of higher education administration experience to this work. Before joining the Colton Center, she spent nearly a decade in Penn’s Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Informatics, serving as Associate Director of Academic Operations and earlier as Executive Assistant to the Chair. There, she advised departmental leadership, oversaw faculty recruitment and staff hiring, managed large-scale events, and led adoption of enterprise technology platforms. Earlier in her career, she was the Department Administrator at Princeton University’s Rare Books and Special Collections and served as Graduate Coordinator for Penn’s Department of Romance Languages.
Lisbeth holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Women’s Studies from Skidmore College.
