Dr. Dan Wu is the Gladys Phillips Crofoot Professor of Pharmacology at Yale School of Medicine. He received his PhD from the W. Alton Jones Cell Science Center at Clarkson University and completed postdoctoral training at Caltech.

Dr. Wu’s laboratory investigates Wnt and G protein-mediated signaling mechanisms and their functions across a broad range of biological and pathophysiological processes, with a particular emphasis on leukocyte biology and inflammation. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that combines biochemical, molecular, and cell biology techniques with transgenic models, genomic and proteomic analysis, advanced imaging, and chemical biology, his laboratory uncovers novel signaling mechanisms, elucidates their functions both in vitro and in vivo, and identifies potential pharmacological targets for human diseases.
